    1. He has admitted to having a s*x addiction while playing and revealed that he would routinely have s*x between the innings of his MLB games.
    2. Darryl was featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated a total of 7 times; out of which one appearance was alongside Don Mattingly and the other alongside Dwight Gooden.
    3. He helped the New York Mets become World Series Champion in 1986 and was crucial in helping the New York Yankees win 2 World Series Championships in 1996 and again in 1999.
