- She had shifted from Iran to Switzerland when she was barely 5 years old. She had begun Kindergarten in Switzerland and has considered it as her home.
- Nasanin has affirmed that her parents like most Persians, were not keen on her getting into the entertainment industry. However, her brother has always been proud of her no matter what she has endeavored in. She has also been grateful to her supportive closest friends, whom she has regarded as her chosen family, who have believed more in her than she has, sometimes.
- She has recalled that she had been overwhelmed after bagging the Miss Earth Switzerland title in 2008. Along with the crown had come all the modeling assignments in Switzerland, Germany, France, and Italy. Nasanin had been shy and nervous in front of the camera. She started getting different gigs, had to attend events, and meet many people, and would get anxious when giving interviews and being on stage. However, she has later seen how getting out of her comfort zone was good for her as she learned a whole lot and grew so much, the exposure, having brought out a different side of her.
- She has stated that being Miss Earth Switzerland was not only a life-changing experience where she got introduced to the glamour world, she had also been able to use her title to speak about important issues like women’s rights in the middle east and work together with some great charity organizations. She had felt it empowering as well as immensely liberating to use a beauty title and show everybody what women are made of.
- Nuri has disclosed that while essaying Veronica in the film Forbidden Power, she had felt that a bit of her character had always been inside of her. She found it amusing that she has a native American tattoo of a dream catcher. She had a whale of a time in the makeup where she looked like a monster and ran around set scaring everyone.
